I am not using this website as often as I should - me mail website is www.123.is/harpaskarpa

I am getting ready to go back to Iceland - for the lambing season - my 15 sheep are going to have around 24 lambs if everything goes well. Looking forward to it - also spending time with my horses - Lilli and Örn, and also Snar and Atlas that have been with my horses this winter.

Then when I am coming back to England I am hoping to tack my English test for Uni. big things happening...

We still have one place left on the longer trips - in the trip 2-10 July 2009

Enn er eitt laust pláss eftir í löngu ferðunum, í fyrri ferðinni 2-10 Júlí 2009
Einnig eru laus plass í stuttu ferðinni og er hún 6-7 dagar

Also places left on the short trip, that trip is 6-7 days.

Stutta ferðin mun koma með leiðarlýsingu í Janúar og verð. athugið að aðeins 8 pláss eru eftir
Í löngu ferðunum eru bara 5 pláss eftir og öll eru þau í fyrri ferðinni.

The shorter trip has 8 places left and more details will come in January about this trip
We only have 5 places left in the longer trips and all in the earlier trip.

Dates for Svaðilfari horsetrips in the Westfjords-Iceland

Summer 2009 dates
We are going on 2 trips that are 9 days each(7 days riding) and then one trip that is 6 days (4 days riding)

The longer trip is 9 days with arrival at the farm and leaving the farm day after we come back.
on arrival day we will take a short riding tour (around 1 hour) just to let you meet some of our horses.
then the next day we will start our 7 day trip around Drangajökull glacier. we are riding from 4 hours up to a 10 hours per day... and including walking also.

On the last day we will go over the glacier and come back to the farm.

The first trip is 2 - 10 of July 2009 5 places left
the later trip is 13-21 of July 2009 Full
It cost 1500 euros

The shorter trip is from 22 of June to 27 of June. this is the first summer that we will do this trip. the price will be ready in January

Svaðilfari wants to make the most of each trip for the riders, so there are only 9 places in each trip. and then there are 2 guides.

Svaðilfari hefur gefið út dagsetningar fyrir sumarið 2009

Sumarið 2009 verða farnar 3 ferðir. 2 langar og svo ein aðeins styttri.

Lengri ferðirnar eru 9 dagar með komu og brottfarardegi. Æðislegar ferðir. Farið er um hornstrandir og á síðasta degi er farið yfir Drangajökul....
Fyrri ferð er 2 til 10 júlí 2009 5 pláss laus
Seinni ferð er 13 til 21 júlí 2009 Full
Kostnaður eru 1500 evrur
Íslenska verðið er 150.000 kr (ef manneskjan er búsett á Íslandi og vinnandi þar.)

Now I have been there. We went there this weekend. it was so much fun.... we slept in a tent... in november.... that you would not do in Iceland. So some amazing events and the weather was not that bad.....

It was cold sleeping in a tent, colder for some more then the others... I was not that cold, but a friend from Gunni(that is my boyfriend) was so cold.... felt bad for him....

I am working on butting the pictures and the videos on the internet.....

So not much new here... I am still looking for work and hoping the best.

England is very nice land, only been rain 2 times since I came here... but alot in Iceland on the same time... hehe

These days I am studying about the beginnig of Iceland... like the Viking age and stuff like that...

I will write about the Viking age soon here if you like....

Derby uk

So now I am in Derby. I came here last friday and I can tell you that I really miss Iceland. the weather here is much warmer....

But it is always fun to try new things....

Since I came we have beeing shopping the things we need, like printer and stuff like that. can tell you that, stuff are much ceaper here then in Iceland....

I have also been thinking about that I want to to here. we are going to stay here for 3 years.... so I have looked at what the univerrsity has to offer... I am going to an open day after 2 weeks to look at it better....

Everything is good here in Iceland....

I have been on my parents farm since around the 10 of september

So much to do, we have 20 cows that we have to milk in the morning and in the evening.... then the round up of the sheep was last weekend. the first one... the second one is after one week...

I was on Váli and that is a great horse like they all are.....

the the man from my sister and his friend went out to the sea to hunt seal. and came back with 14 babe seals.... it is not that easy to work the meat and the skin but fun to try diffrent things. I am getting pretty good at taking the skin of....

Everyhing is used on the seal except the head. we eat the seal fresh, salted, smoked and the feet and the hands you can say, we but that in sour,,, and eat it later.... that is icelandic...

but I am going to but pictures on my website when I will have a better internet connection. will letyou all know,,,

hope that everyone are good....

I will be in Iceland next summer..... not bad. my boyfriend will have sommerholiday from june until sept so I can work in Iceland. Now I just jave to think about what I want to do....

So much has happend here with me, I am now at Laugarholt, it is a farm in Isafjardardjup in the Westfjords. The sister from my mother and her family lives here

The internet is not so good here and that is the reason why I have not been writing on this site.

I have been here for more then a week now and it is so much fun.

They also have trips on horses here. Next sommer they are going to have 2 kindsof trips.one is 4 days riding and the other 7 days riding...

I will write more when I will be at my parents .....I will maybe go there today or tomorrow.....
